By accessing this website and using our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part, do not use our services.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

Our paid services are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring, periodic basis (e.g., monthly).

  • Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment processor, Paystack.
  • By purchasing a subscription, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings page or by contacting us.
  • Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
  • You will continue to have access to the service through the end of your billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds or credits for partially used subscription periods.

4. Use of AI Services

Our service uses generative AI models (from Google) to provide answers and learning materials. You understand that:

  • AI-generated content may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. You should use it as a learning aid and not as a sole source of information.
  • You are responsible for the inputs (prompts) you provide and for reviewing the outputs.
  • You must not use the service for any illegal, harmful, or malicious activities.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Learning Genie, nor its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, resulting from your use of the service.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and password (managed by Supabase).
  • User Content: We collect the prompts, questions, and images you upload to our service (e.g., in the Homework Helper).
  • Payment Information: We do not store your credit card details. This is handled securely by our payment processor, Paystack. We only receive a token and confirmation of your subscription status.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our services.
  • To process your subscription payments.
  • To communicate with you, including sending service updates and responding to support requests.
  • To improve our service by analyzing how users interact with it.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted third-party providers to operate our service:

  • Supabase: Our database and authentication provider.
  • Paystack: Our payment processing provider.
  • Google: Our AI models provider. Your prompts and images are sent to their API for processing.
  • Netlify: Our web hosting and functions provider.

4. Cookies

We use cookies (small text files) to keep you logged in and to understand your preferences. Our cookie consent banner provides more details. We use Supabase auth, which relies on a secure cookie for session management.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Union, you have certain rights, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Please contact us to make such a request.
